- Allow this source Android will ask for confirmation: Meowdex does not come from the Play Store, and that is expected.
- Open it and start No account is needed to collect your first cat.
What about the account?
Everything works without one
The app works entirely offline. Your cats, your photos and your notes stay on your phone, and nothing is sent anywhere.
An account adds three things
An online backup of your collection, the ability to find it again on another device, and access to your friends' collections.
Sign-ups are approved by hand
This is a personal server: every request is approved manually. You can close the app while you wait — your request is kept, and you go on using the app normally in the meantime.
